Official Free Air Warranty

Product Warranty Certificate

We warrant this product against all manufacturing defects under normal use and maintenance. The warranty period is five years from the date of installation and operation of the product, provided that the warranty commences no later than two months from the purchase date as evidenced by a valid legal invoice.

Please retain the original warranty certificate, the valid legal purchase invoice, and the warranty-service follow-up card. The serial number stated in the warranty certificate must match the serial number fixed to the product.

Warranty Terms

  • The product must be installed and operated by Free Air or one of its authorized distributors in accordance with the technical specifications and instructions stated in the installation and operation manuals supplied with the product upon delivery from the factory.
  • For the warranty to remain valid, the warranty-certificate details must be completed, and a stamped valid legal purchase invoice or an approved installation report issued through Free Air or one of its authorized distributors must be presented. If these documents are not provided, the warranty will not be valid.
  • If installation is performed by the customer, the warranty applies only to spare parts in the event of a manufacturing defect, and the customer bears the cost of inspection, examination, and transportation.
  • During the five-year warranty period, Free Air or the authorized distributor that performed the installation will repair or replace any part of the product free of charge.
  • The five-year warranty includes the cost of spare parts, inspection and examination work, and transportation for the representative or technician performing the work, in addition to the cost of transporting the device for repair from the purchaser's premises to the warranty-service center and returning it after repair.
  • During the first warranty year only, if a defect affecting the functional performance of the product occurs more than twice, the indoor unit, outdoor unit, refrigerant connection, or the entire device will be replaced with a new one, depending on the type of defect, free of charge.

The Warranty Is Void in the Following Cases

High or low voltage, or improper electrical connections
Damage resulting from high or low voltage, or from the electrical connections between the power source and the air-conditioner operating switch (incorrect electrical connections - defects in electrical wiring - defects in the power source).
Incorrect installation, service, maintenance, or repair work
Damage resulting from incorrect installation, service, maintenance, or repair work carried out by the purchaser.
Reinstallation of the product by the purchaser at a different location
Damage resulting from the purchaser reinstalling the product at a new location other than the original installation location where installation was performed by Free Air or one of its authorized distributors.
Incorrect transportation of the product
Damage resulting from incorrect transportation of the product by the purchaser.
Incorrect modification of the product
Damage resulting from any incorrect modification of the product by the purchaser.
Misuse, negligence, or failure to follow operating instructions
Damage resulting from misuse (negligence - overload - failure to clean the air filters - failure to follow the operating instructions stated in the operation manual supplied with the product).
Weather events and environmental conditions
Damage resulting from weather events (adverse weather conditions - hailstorms - sandstorms - lightning - floods - acid rain - rodents or insects, etc.).
Corrosion of coils or welds caused by vapors and gases
Damage resulting from corrosion of coils and welds due to vapors and gases affecting the product (installation near sewage stations - drains - cement factories - chemical factories, etc.).
Unsafe installation or installation that does not meet the instructions
Unsafe installation of the product in a manner that does not comply with the instructions, technical standards, or installation-safety standards.
Changing or scratching off the serial number
Changing or scratching off the serial number of the product or any of its components.

Useful Life After Warranty

The useful life is two years after the original warranty period for the provision of maintenance and spare parts for a fee.

Purchaser Responsibilities

  • The purchaser is responsible for the electrical connections between the power source and the air-conditioner operating switch.
  • Ensure that periodic maintenance services are performed through Free Air or one of its authorized distributors during the validity period of the warranty.
  • Retain the warranty certificate and the valid legal purchase invoice for use when requesting maintenance or repair work for the air conditioner through Free Air or one of its authorized distributors during the product-warranty period.
  • Retain the warranty-service follow-up card for use when any maintenance or repair work is performed on the air conditioner through Free Air or one of its authorized distributors during the product-warranty period.
  • After the product-warranty period provided by Free Air or one of its authorized distributors expires, we recommend arranging a periodic-maintenance contract for the product through Free Air or the authorized distributor that performed the sale and installation.
Note: The serial number stated in the warranty certificate is the product serial number.

Seller Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all purchaser details, the installation date, and the details of the distributor performing the installation are recorded in the warranty certificate and the coupon located at the bottom of the warranty certificate. The coupon must then be detached and handed to the authorized distributor that performed the sale and installation.
